The City of Norwalk will accept applications for the full-time position of Park and Recreation Coordinator at the Ernsthausen Community Center.
Qualifications for the position are completion of secondary education or equivalent and must possess a State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license, plus must remain insurable under the City's vehicle insurance policy.
Under the general direction of Recreation Director and Superintendent of Parks & Recreation, the Recreation Coordinator will fill many roles, including but not limited to:
Planning and assisting in organizing and implementing adult and youth sports programs, leagues and special events
Supervises the activities of assigned part-time and seasonal employees
Assists with pool operations, (will become a Certified Pool Operator, within 3 months of hire)
Oversees and supervises day and evening recreation activities and special events
Prepares schedules and promotional materials
Assists with Purchasing and replacement of equipment
Assists with the maintenance of parks and recreation equipment and facilities
